Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,150 – $2,310
• Position / Setting: Mammography Technologist / Breast Care Center – Mammographer (Travel Radiologic Technologist)
• Shifts: 5x8-hour day shifts (07:30 – 16:15), 40 hours per week

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent experience as a Mammography Technologist or Mammographer (screening and diagnostic)
• Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications (ARRT Mammography required)
• Valid Connecticut State Mammography License (must be obtained prior to start)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience required
• Previous charge/lead technologist experience required
• Proficiency with 3-D mammography (tomosynthesis), Hologic 3D systems, digital mammography, diagnostic mammograms, screening mammograms, and digital QA procedures
• Knowledge of universal precautions and infection control protocols
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Must provide at least 1 professional reference
• No local candidates (within 75 miles) accepted — travel applicants only

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality breast imaging procedures including screening and diagnostic mammography and tomosynthesis
• Operate and maintain Hologic 3D and digital mammography equipment; participate in digital QA and equipment maintenance
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy during imaging exams; provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Accurately document procedures and patient data using Epic EHR
• Follow infection control practices and universal precautions at all times
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support diagnostic workflows
• Serve in charge/lead technologist duties as needed for the Breast Care Center
