Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 8, 2026)
Location: Rockford, IL 61104 (Rockford, Illinois travel cath lab job)
Setting: Hospital Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology
Role / Title: Radiologic Technologist / Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist
Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
On-Call: Rotating call 1-2 nights per week, every 4th weekend, and possible holiday coverage
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,640 – $2,840

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology (IR) setting
ARRT certification required (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Experience with Electrophysiology (EP) procedures preferred
Proven ability to perform both scrub and monitoring roles for device placements and ablations
Must be able to provide an IR skills checklist or competency documentation
Willingness to take assigned on-call shifts as scheduled
No local candidates within 50 miles for this travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

Perform radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures in the Cath Lab for interventional radiology and cardiology cases
Serve as scrub tech and monitoring technologist during device placements, pacemaker/ICD implants, and ablation procedures
Provide on-call coverage for emergent radiology and cath lab cases as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, EP staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate procedure documentation and adhere to hospital policies, radiation safety, and infection control standards
