• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Location: Sidney, MT (zip 59270) — travel RN position targeting Montana nursing jobs
• Setting: Critical Access Hospital – Obstetrics Unit (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 1, 2026 – July 31, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (18:45 – 07:00)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel (Travel Nursing, Travel RN)

Job Requirements (Qualifications)

• Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, or other Obstetrics RN roles (L&D RN, OB nurse, Postpartum Nurse, Nursery Nurse)
• Must be labor-trained with hands-on delivery experience
• Active RN license (state-specific requirements apply)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• STABLE certification
• Fetal Monitoring certification (Intermediate or above)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns in a Critical Access Hospital setting
• Perform triage assessments and non-stress tests (NSTs)
• Serve as the second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients during high census
• Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure safe, coordinated care
• Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery, escalating concerns per protocol
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong emphasis on communication and clinical best practices
