• Assignment Type: Travel Surgical Tech / Travel Surgical Technologist
• Setting: Hospital Operating Room (OR) – perioperative / scrub tech role
• Start Date: March 16, 2026
• End Date: June 15, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour days; flexibility for day/evening hours as needed)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,240 – $1,330 (competitive travel pay)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Tech in a hospital OR setting (perioperative/hospital OR experience required)
• Current NBSTA and DORA certifications required
• Ortho / joint (orthopedic) surgical experience is a must — scrub tech experience in ortho cases preferred
• Level I and trauma experience preferred
• Flexible for day/evening hours and call rotations as needed
• Self-directed, accountable, and a strong team player in a high-volume OR
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR for documentation preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist and scrub in a variety of surgical procedures (excluding CVOR, Neuro, and Transplants)
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and supplies for orthopedic and general cases
• Pass instruments, anticipate surgeon needs, and assist with positioning and prepping patients
• Work collaboratively with RNs, PCTs, ATs, and the trauma team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in the OR when assigned for concentrated, high-quality care
• Document perioperative care and case details accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in call rotation and demonstrate flexibility and accountability in a fast-paced environment
