- Role: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care RN / Travel Nurse

Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience
- At least 1 prior travel assignment required (travel nurse experience)
- Active RN license (state-specific requirements apply)
- Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Strong cardiac ICU background: experience with cath lab interventions, STEMIs, and post-code care
- Experience caring for medical and surgical ICU patients
- Strict 75-mile radius restriction applies
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care for ICU patients, including post-cath lab, STEMI, and post-code patients
- Manage medical and surgical ICU caseloads as needed
- Care for patients after interventional radiology procedures and other invasive interventions
- Use MEDITECH for accurate charting and timely documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other nursing staff) to optimize patient outcomes
- Follow unit policies and protocols, including the cancellation policy (12 hours every 2 weeks)
