Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a hospital setting (hospital SLP experience)
• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (must be on profile)
• BLS certification required
• Experience with ventilator-dependent patients in ICU preferred (ICU SLP, ventilator care)
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred (Epic experience helps with documentation)
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred (travel healthcare experience)
• Willingness to float to other sister campuses as needed
• Radius rule: Must reside at least 50 miles from permanent address

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing (dysphagia) therapy to adult patients in a hospital rehabilitation setting
• Assess, diagnose, plan, and implement evidence-based treatment plans for inpatient rehabilitation and acute care patients
• Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy, nursing, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage and treat ventilator-dependent and medically complex patients in the ICU and acute care as needed
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to other units or sister campuses as required and adapt to varying hospital workflows
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and maintain a positive, team-oriented culture
