• Position: Travel Hospital Pharmacist / Travel Pharmacist
• Setting: Hospital pharmacy / acute care
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280 – $2,450
• Start Date: 05/04/2026

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent hospital pharmacy experience or clinical acute care pharmacist background
• Current State of Florida pharmacist license (or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure)
• Successful completion of all educational requirements for state licensure
• BLS certification (if required by state or facility)
• EPIC experience required – experience with electronic medication profiles, CPOE, and eMAR strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities – Hospital Pharmacy

• Maintain adequate drug supply, procure medications, and manage inventory for the hospital pharmacy
• Prepare, sterilize, and label parenteral/IV medications and solutions (sterile compounding)
• Fill and dispense medications accurately, including STAT and emergency orders
• Ensure strict control and accountability for controlled substances and all dispensed drugs
• Document dispensed medications and maintain required pharmacy records and logs
• Perform monthly inspections of the pharmacy and medication storage in patient care units
• Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, and hospital policies
• Participate in medication reconciliation for discharge medication lists and transitions of care
• Provide discharge counseling and medication education to patients and families
• Monitor patient drug therapy for contraindications, drug interactions, dosing appropriateness, and allergies
• Support antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and assist with antimicrobial optimization
• Provide pharmacokinetic dosing support, anticoagulation management, and dose adjustments as needed
• Participate in staff training, education programs, and pharmacy quality assurance activities
• Promote a safe, collaborative, and patient-centered work environment
