• Position: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation
• Setting: Acute Rehab, 12-bed unit at a Trauma Level III hospital
• Location: Findlay, Ohio (45840) — Findlay, OH travel therapy jobs, Hancock County
• Assignment Dates: Apr 27, 2026 to Aug 3, 2026 (14 weeks)
• Shift: 8-hour days (7:30am – 4:00pm or 7:00am – 3:30pm)
• Weekly Hours: 32–40 hours, weekend shifts required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920 – $2,060 (competitive pay for travel OT)
• Dress Code: Black scrubs

Qualifications and Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Ohio (required)
• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Minimum 1 year of relevant OT clinical experience; acute rehab experience preferred
• Experience working with adult and geriatric populations in inpatient rehab settings
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR preferred; strong clinical documentation skills
• Team-oriented, goal-driven, and focused on functional outcomes and safe home discharge

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy interventions for adult and geriatric patients in an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Evaluate, treat, and progress patients with emphasis on activities of daily living (ADLs), transfers, mobility, and functional tasks
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including PT, SLP, nursing, and case management
• Use therapeutic equipment such as BITs, H200, LiteGait, NuStep, and car transfer simulator to advance functional independence
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress accurately and timely in Cerner EHR
• Manage a typical caseload (approx. 6:1) and prioritize patients based on clinical need
• Work scheduled weekend shifts; no on-call or float requirements
• Provide patient and family education, discharge recommendations, and community resource referrals to support safe transitions home
