Required Qualifications (Rehab RN / Travel Nurse)

• Minimum 1 year of previous Rehabilitation RN experience (rehab nursing, acute rehab preferred)
• Active Iowa RN license (compact license eligibility may apply)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Mandatory Reporter certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification and copies of required certifications
• Updated work history / resume
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse status requirement)

Rehabilitation RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality rehabilitation nursing care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or neurologic events
• Contribute clinical expertise to an interdisciplinary team (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, case management)
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Accurately document patient care and progress using EPIC EMR
• Participate in orientation, mandatory training, and ongoing professional development
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
