Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Location: Crestview, FL 32539 — Emerald Coast / Northwest Florida
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab (Interventional Cardiology / Cardiac Catheterization)
• Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Call: Required in afternoons, weekends, and holidays (30-minute response time)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel, On-Site

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida or current Compact RN license (required)
• ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required (5 years preferred)
• Florida statute: 500 hours experience at a cardiothoracic surgical site, or 500 hours at a facility performing more than 500 PCIs per year
• AHCA fingerprinting required prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures (PCI)
• Monitor hemodynamic status, recognize changes, and respond to emergencies as needed
• Assist physicians and the cath lab team during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation, sterile technique, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Participate in call rotation, including afternoons, weekends, and holidays
• Provide patient education and pre/post-procedure care as part of cardiovascular nursing practice
