- Location: Plymouth, MA 02360 (Plymouth, Massachusetts – New England travel nursing)
- Role: Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) – IV Infusion / Oncology coverage as needed
- Setting: IV Infusion Room (ambulatory infusion clinic / oncology infusion)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (5/18/2026 – 8/15/2026)
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; every other weekend required
- Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 – $2,630
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (W2) — Travel RN / Infusion RN position
Minimum Job Requirements (Infusion RN / Oncology Nurse)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of recent infusion and ambulatory chemotherapy experience
- Chemo certification required; ONS certification required
- BLS certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required (documentation and medication administration in EPIC)
- PICC line and midline experience preferred (BARD certification preferred)
- Comfortable with venous access: Ports, PIVs, ultrasound-guided PIVs
- Experience administering a variety of infusion therapies: biologics, chemotherapy, blood products, therapeutic phlebotomies
- Must pass ECG/Tele and Medication competency tests (one attempt only, 85% passing score)
- No local candidates — candidate must live outside the local area
Primary Responsibilities (Infusion RN / IV Infusion Nurse)
- Administer infusion therapies, including chemotherapy, biologics, and blood products with adherence to oncology safety protocols
- Perform venous access procedures: Ports, PIVs, ultrasound-guided PIVs, PICC and midline placements
- Support the oncology team and provide coverage across ambulatory infusion units as needed
- Conduct therapeutic phlebotomies and monitor patients for infusion-related reactions
- Document all care accurately and timely using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (oncology providers, pharmacists, infusion techs) to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in biweekly orientation, competency validations, and adhere to facility protocols and policies
