• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Location: Ahoskie, NC 27910 — Emergency Department RN job in North Carolina
• Setting: Emergency Department (15 beds: 8 monitored, 7 non?monitored)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Travel RN)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend
• Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or Compact RN license accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Department / ER nursing experience
• EPIC EMR experience required (EPIC documentation and triage)
• Must comply with 80-mile local radius rule
• Strong critical thinking, triage, and acute care skills for fast-paced ED environments

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of acute and urgent conditions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Accurate documentation of patient care using EPIC EMR
• Maintain and manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:5
• Participate in department meetings, quality initiatives, and ongoing education
