Job Details – Travel MRI Tech (Memphis, TN 38103)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630 – $1,750
• Location: Memphis, TN 38103
• Setting: Children's Hospital – Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour days (Wed, Thu, Fri; 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: As needed
• Role Type: Travel MRI Tech / MRI Technologist – Pediatric MRI, hospital-based

Job Requirements – MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience (3 years preferred if no prior travel assignments)
• Pediatric MRI experience required — experience with children and family-centered care
• Proficiency with GE MRI systems required (GE MRI technologist experience)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• Valid driver’s license must be submitted with application
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• All requested time off must be included at time of submission
• Pending licenses not accepted; must meet state licensure requirements for MRI technologists

Responsibilities – Pediatric MRI Technologist Duties

• Perform MRI scans on pediatric patients using GE MRI systems, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate closely with radiology, cardiology, and pediatric teams to support patient care and imaging needs
• Maintain MRI safety protocols, infection control standards, and pediatric-friendly practices
• Accurately document imaging procedures, patient information, and exam protocols in the electronic medical record
• Assist with scheduling and workflow in the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) unit to optimize patient throughput
• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to children and their families in a trauma center setting
