- Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
OR RN Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience — perioperative / surgical RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required
- Previous travel nursing experience required (travel nurse, travel RN)
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Experience with robotics, urology, general surgery, and bariatric surgery preferred (robotic surgery nurse, bariatric nurse)
- Ability to float as needed per facility policy
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy, dynamic operating room environment
- Assist with a wide range of procedures including liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants, as well as general, robotic, bariatric, ENT, ophthalmology, and plastic surgeries
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech (electronic medical record)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes (surgical team communication, patient safety)
- Adhere to hospital policies, including floating to other units as required
- Maintain professional appearance and comply with dress code: navy scrubs, clean and neat grooming, covered tattoos, and minimal visible piercings
