Job Details — Fort Worth Respiratory Therapist Job

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1240 - $1330
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 10 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 6:30 PM), rotating weekends
• Location: Fort Worth, TX — Enjoy working in a vibrant city with rich arts, culture, and dining options.

Qualifications — Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience as a Respiratory Therapist (ICU respiratory therapist experience preferred)
• Valid CRT or RRT certification
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with ventilator management, arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, and intubation assistance
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Preferred: CVICU experience and familiarity with Nitric management

Responsibilities — Travel Respiratory Therapist Duties

• Provide respiratory care to patients across all hospital areas, including ICU support and step-down units
• Manage and operate advanced respiratory equipment (V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, PB980, Metaneb, EPOC ABG system, Nitric, AIRVO)
• Perform procedures including ABG collection, ventilator management, bronchoscopy assistance, intubation assistance, nebulizer therapy, and HFNC
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, physicians, RT team) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to various units as needed to support hospital respiratory therapy services
