Job Details — Fort Worth Respiratory Therapist Job
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1240 - $1330
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift: 10 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 6:30 PM), rotating weekends
- Location: Fort Worth, TX — Enjoy working in a vibrant city with rich arts, culture, and dining options.
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
Qualifications — Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience as a Respiratory Therapist (ICU respiratory therapist experience preferred)
- Valid CRT or RRT certification
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with ventilator management, arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, and intubation assistance
- Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Preferred: CVICU experience and familiarity with Nitric management
Responsibilities — Travel Respiratory Therapist Duties
- Provide respiratory care to patients across all hospital areas, including ICU support and step-down units
- Manage and operate advanced respiratory equipment (V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, PB980, Metaneb, EPOC ABG system, Nitric, AIRVO)
- Perform procedures including ABG collection, ventilator management, bronchoscopy assistance, intubation assistance, nebulizer therapy, and HFNC
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, physicians, RT team) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Float to various units as needed to support hospital respiratory therapy services
