ICU Registered Nurse (RN) travel contract in Sioux City, Iowa. 13-week critical care travel nursing job (night shifts) seeking ICU RN with 2+ years ICU experience and current ACLS/BLS certification.
Job Details – ICU Travel Nurse / Critical Care Nurse
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
- Location: Sioux City, Iowa – zip 51104 (Sioux City nursing jobs / Iowa travel nursing)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 or 48 (approved)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-site ICU RN
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
Qualifications – ICU RN / Critical Care Nurse
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing or critical care experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license: Iowa or Compact RN license accepted
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) required
- PALS (AHA), TNCC, CPI certifications preferred/required as noted
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred (EPIC experience helpful for ICU documentation)
- Open to first-time travel nurses — excellent opportunity for travel nursing careers
Responsibilities – ICU Registered Nurse / ICU RN Duties
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
- Perform patient assessments, administer medications, manage ventilators and advanced monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy) to develop and implement care plans
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR and maintain clinical records
- Participate in orientation, ongoing education, and unit?based training
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards
- Provide leadership as charge nurse or preceptor if requested
