Join a dedicated team at a state-of-the-art 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Waukesha, Wisconsin. As a Rehab RN / Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized clinical care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
- Location: Waukesha, WI 53188 (Milwaukee area)
- Facility: 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN / Travel Nurse)
- Shift: 12-hour Nights (6:30pm – 7:00am)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks (April 26, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Electronic Health Record: Epic
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Wisconsin
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in rehabilitation, med-surg, or skilled nursing
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the inpatient rehabilitation setting (Rehab RN / Rehab Nurse)
- Collaborate with physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physicians, and case management to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress, perform assessments, and provide education to patients and families throughout the recovery journey (stroke rehab, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic)
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed and document care in Epic EHR
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary colleagues and participate in weekend rotations
