Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift in Waukesha, WI (53188). 13-week travel contract; inpatient rehab; Epic EHR experience preferred.

Join a dedicated team at a state-of-the-art 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Waukesha, Wisconsin. As a Rehab RN / Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized clinical care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
Location: Waukesha, WI 53188 (Milwaukee area)
Facility: 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital
Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN / Travel Nurse)
Shift: 12-hour Nights (6:30pm – 7:00am)
Hours per Week: 36
Duration: 13 weeks (April 26, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
Electronic Health Record: Epic

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Wisconsin
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in rehabilitation, med-surg, or skilled nursing
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the inpatient rehabilitation setting (Rehab RN / Rehab Nurse)
Collaborate with physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physicians, and case management to develop and implement individualized care plans
Monitor patient progress, perform assessments, and provide education to patients and families throughout the recovery journey (stroke rehab, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic)
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed and document care in Epic EHR
Maintain clear communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary colleagues and participate in weekend rotations
