Job Details
- Location: Puyallup, Washington (Zip: 98372) — near Tacoma/Seattle
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
- Setting: Hospital – Level III Trauma Center (Cardiac Cath Lab / EP support)
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
- Shift: 10-hour rotating shifts (0600–1630 or 0700–1730, depending on call schedule)
- Call: Every 4th weekend and 1–2 weeknights per week; 30-minute response time required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,900 – $3,110
- Parking: Free garage parking
- Scrubs: Provided (extended sizing available)
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required (2+ years if first-time traveler)
- Active ARRT (Cardiovascular) or RCIS certification required
- Current Washington State license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures, including LHC/RHC and STEMI/NSTEMI care
- Ability to scrub and operate the table simultaneously; monitoring experience preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Strong teamwork, flexibility, and positive attitude for fast-paced hospital environments
Responsibilities
- Assist with a wide range of Cath Lab procedures: diagnostic/interventional cases, LHC/RHC, STEMI/NSTEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, peripheral interventions, and loop recorders
- Support Electrophysiology (EP) procedures including Micra, pacemaker implants, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes
- Scrub, circulate, and operate equipment as needed; assist with imaging and patient monitoring
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members (RNs, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, intensivists, and cardiologists)
- Participate in call rotation and respond within 30 minutes as required
- Float to nearby Auburn Cath Lab as needed (advance notice provided)
- Document procedures and patient information using EPIC EMR
- Assist with patient transport and ensure patient safety and infection control at all times
