• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,670 - $2,870

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour shifts
• Employment Type: Travel Pharmacist, On-site (hospital pharmacy)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required
• Current RPh (Pharmacist) license from the State of Texas required
• Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacist experience required; 2+ years preferred—experience with medication preparation, IV admixture, or sterile compounding is a plus
• 20 hours of accredited training in compounding sterile products preferred
• Proficiency in English (read, write, speak)

Primary Responsibilities

• Promote pharmaceutical care and ensure medication safety across inpatient units
• Perform clinical review to ensure appropriateness of medication doses (diagnosis, weight/BSA, allergies, interactions)
• Accurately enter, verify, and dispense medication orders in the hospital pharmacy system
• Process medication orders and prepare/deliver doses within established guidelines and timeframes
• Adhere to aseptic technique and infection control when preparing sterile products and IV admixtures
• Complete annual re-certification in aseptic technique/infection control as required
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, clinical pharmacists, and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize medication therapy
• Document interventions and maintain high standards of regulatory and safety compliance
