Position Details — Respiratory Therapist (Travel)

• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy, General Care
• Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711 (Northeast Pennsylvania / Pocono Mountains)
• Start Date: May 18, 2026
• End Date: August 16, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3 × 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00am – 7:30pm)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 – $1,970

Required Qualifications — Registered Respiratory Therapist / RRT

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (hospital experience preferred)
• Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license (PA license required)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and PALS

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting
• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy interventions and treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and therapy outcomes
• Participate in patient and family education regarding respiratory care and equipment
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
