Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• Strong orthopedic surgery experience required (Orthopedic OR Nurse)
• Experience with endoscopy and general surgery cases preferred (Endoscopy RN, General Surgery RN)
• BLS certification (required)
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environment

Key Responsibilities — Surgical / Perioperative Nurse

• Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical cases with emphasis on orthopedics, endoscopy, and general surgery
• Provide safe, patient-centered perioperative care from pre-op through post-op
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control and OR safety standards
• Prepare the operating room, instruments, and supplies for each procedure
• Document perioperative care and patient information accurately and promptly
• Participate in on-call or holiday coverage if needed (rare)
