Travel PET/CT Technologist Job Details — Trumbull, CT (06611)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 26, 2026 – August 25, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,380 – $2,550
- Setting: Short-term acute care hospital, Level II Trauma Center
- Unit: PET/CT (Oncology focus)
- Shift: Day shift, Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts (11:30 AM – 8:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Charting / PACS: EPIC (electronic medical record)
- Equipment: Siemens Biograph PET/CT

Job Requirements — Nuclear Medicine / PET CT Technologist
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist; PET/CT experience preferred
- Certification: NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) required
- Radiology or Cardiology certification
- Experience with Siemens Biograph equipment strongly preferred
- Connecticut state license required (must be obtained prior to start; allow 15–21 business days for processing)
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- 1 professional reference required
- Must not be local — candidate must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations and oncology imaging
- Knowledge of radiation safety, radiopharmaceutical handling, and hospital regulatory protocols
Primary Responsibilities — PET/CT & Nuclear Medicine
- Perform routine and oncology-focused PET/CT exams with high-quality imaging standards
- Safely store, handle, prepare, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals and radioactive materials following radiation safety protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot Siemens Biograph PET/CT equipment
- Document procedures, patient information, and imaging results accurately in EPIC
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (radiology, oncology, nursing) to deliver excellent patient care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulatory requirements
