Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in respiratory care or equivalent certificate of completion in respiratory care
- Minimum 2 years respiratory care experience in a general or acute hospital setting
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license from any U.S. state, territory, or Puerto Rico
- American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- Fingerprinting clearance required prior to start
- COVID & flu exemptions may be accepted with declination form
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and clinical respiratory care, including emergent, critical care, and intensive modalities
- Operate and manage mechanical ventilators, deliver oxygen therapy, and perform ventilator management
- Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures (ABGs, PFTs, chest physiotherapy) as needed
- Deliver care across inpatient and outpatient settings to a diverse patient population
- Participate in on-call rotations, holiday coverage, and overtime as required
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize pulmonary care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital respiratory therapy protocols and standards
