Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology nursing experience (Interventional Radiology RN / IR RN)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system (EPIC documentation experience preferred)
• Experience with procedural sedation, peri-procedural monitoring, and patient recovery
• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing (California RN license)
• Current CPR (BLS) certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the inpatient interventional radiology unit
• Prepare patients for IR procedures, administer procedural sedation, and monitor recovery
• Use EPIC EMR for accurate documentation, orders, and communication with the care team
• Float to other radiology nursing areas as needed to support department needs
• Collaborate with interventional radiologists, technologists, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments, patient education, and discharge planning when applicable
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control practices
