Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 29, 2026 – September 28, 2026)
• Position: Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapy
• Setting: Outpatient Rehab / Pediatric Outpatient Clinic
• Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts (8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,010 – $2,160 (travel occupational therapist pay)
• Location: Jacksonville, IL 62650 — ideal for clinicians seeking Illinois travel therapy jobs and pediatric OT positions
• On-site Parking: Free with permit
• Charting / EMR: Cerner (experience preferred)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience required (outpatient pediatric OT experience preferred)
• Current Illinois OT license (must be in hand at submission) — Illinois pediatric occupational therapist license required
• Therapy/Rehabilitation certification
• Experience with Cerner charting preferred (EMR experience helpful for travel OT roles)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Must be able to float within scope as needed
• First-time travelers not accepted for this role — experienced travel occupational therapists only

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based pediatric occupational therapy services to outpatient pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes and family-centered care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (PT, SLP, nursing, physicians) to optimize patient outcomes in outpatient rehab
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using Cerner EMR
• Float to other units within scope as needed to meet facility needs
• Participate in orientation and complete required modules prior to start
