Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active RN license (must meet facility and travel nurse license requirements)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ER/ED) experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting
- Peripheral IV, stroke, sepsis, and STEMI experience preferred
- Experience with triage, rapid assessment, and emergency interventions for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate
- Compliance with facility dress code (scrub colors: black, navy, or royal blue)
Responsibilities / Emergency Department RN Duties
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring in the ED
- Stabilize and manage a wide range of medical and trauma presentations; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient care accurately and timely using the Paragon EHR system
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
- Adapt to volume surges — typical patient ratios 1:4, up to 1:5 during peak times
