Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1850 - $1990
- Location: Boise, Idaho (83712) — Boise respiratory therapist jobs / Idaho travel respiratory therapy
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/18/2026 – End: 8/17/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am), every other weekend — Night shift respiratory therapist role
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Setting: Acute care hospital; may float to Meridian and Nampa Medical Centers
- Charting System: EPIC
Job Requirements
- RRT preferred; CRT accepted with at least 3–5 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience required for RRT candidates in acute care
- Valid Respiratory Therapist certification (state licensure required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required for adult care
- BLS and PALS certifications required for pediatric patients
- BLS and NRP certifications required for NICU coverage
- Experience with NAVA (naturally adjusted ventilatory assist) on Servo ventilators for NICU coverage
- Comfortable assisting with intubation procedures (not required to intubate independently)

Responsibilities
- Manage ventilators, non-invasive support, NAVA settings, and all respiratory therapy equipment across adult, pediatric, and NICU units
- Provide respiratory treatments, airway management support, patient transport, and perform arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Assist in intubation procedures and collaborate with clinicians on ventilator strategies
- Float to Meridian and Nampa Medical Centers as needed for staffing support
- Work closely with hospitalists, intensivists, neonatologists, and lead therapists to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to hospital policies (scrubs: any color, clean and professional)
