Job Details
- Location: Trenton, NJ 08638 (Trenton healthcare jobs, New Jersey nursing jobs)
- Setting: EP Lab (Cath Lab RN or IR RN experience also considered)
- Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts per week (40 hours/week)
- Duration: 8 weeks (short-term contract)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,750 – $2,890
- Start Date: May 25, 2026
- Electronic Medical Record: Cerner (EMR experience preferred)
- Interview: Virtual interviews with the manager
- Flu Vaccine: Mandatory (no declinations or exceptions)

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an EP Lab RN; Cath Lab RN or IR RN experience accepted
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology procedures, cardiac rhythm mapping, pacing, and procedural workflows
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced cardiac environment
Responsibilities
- Assist electrophysiologists during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, including cardiac rhythm mapping, device interrogation, and temporary/permanent pacing
- Prepare procedure rooms and cardiac monitoring equipment; ensure sterile technique and procedural safety
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage hemodynamic status throughout procedures
- Administer medications as ordered and provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Cerner EMR and support quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (EP techs, cardiologists, anesthesia, and nursing staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards and support unit policies for patient safety
