- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 – $2,430
- Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711 (Wilkes-Barre radiation therapy job; Pennsylvania oncology opening)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 16, 2026)
- Shift: Day shift (7:30am–4:00pm or 8:30am–5:00pm, based on patient load)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 × 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- Type: Travel Radiation Therapist, On-Site hospital oncology role
- No call, no weekends, no holidays
Job Requirements
- Registered Radiation Therapist (ARRT) — American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist in oncology or hospital settings
- Hands-on experience with Varian TrueBeam systems and Varian ARIA oncology information system
- Certification in Radiation Therapy (Therapeutic Radiographer/Radiation Therapist)
Responsibilities
- Deliver precise radiation treatments to oncology patients using Varian TrueBeam technology
- Operate and document treatments in the ARIA oncology information system for accurate patient records
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and multidisciplinary clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Perform patient setup, immobilization, and verification to maintain treatment accuracy and safety
- Maintain safety standards, comply with hospital protocols, and support quality assurance procedures
- Provide compassionate patient education and support throughout radiation therapy
