  • Contract Type: Travel Nurse (13 weeks)

  • Shift: 12-hour nights (18:30–07:00)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state requirements for travel nursing)
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
  • Proficiency in assessment, IV insertion, Foley insertion, and nasogastric tube (NGT) placement
  • Ability to float to other units as needed
  • Experience with Alaris IV pumps and EPIC EMR preferred
  • Med/Surg and oncology experience preferred
  • Strong communication, clinical curiosity, and commitment to patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality oncology and med/surg nursing care on a busy inpatient unit
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
  • Insert, manage, and troubleshoot IVs, Foleys, and nasogastric tubes
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient status using EPIC EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Support unit staffing by floating to other clinical areas as required
  • Maintain a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients and staff
