Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 31, 2026 – August 29, 2026)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
- Setting: Hospital – Echocardiology Unit (Cardiac Imaging)
- Shift: 8 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel / Contract – Travel Sonographer

Job Requirements (Qualifications)
- Associate’s degree in radiology, diagnostic medical sonography, or equivalent certification required
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification required
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician preferred; at least 5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer or Echocardiography Technician is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with TEE, TTE, and Stress echo (exercise echo)
- Experience with Philips ultrasound equipment preferred
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and IV starts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment for cardiac imaging, including M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE
- Perform and document TEE, TTE, and Stress echo studies with accuracy and clinical judgment
- Utilize Lumason contrast agent and conduct bubble studies as required
- Assist physicians and collaborate with the Echocardiology team to deliver patient-centered care
- Ensure accurate patient records and maintain documentation in Epic EMR per hospital policy
- Adhere to departmental protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
