• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery and Postpartum RN experience (L&D RN)
• Active Minnesota RN license
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification — basic and intermediate
• Willingness to float to Postpartum unit as needed
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
• New graduates are not accepted for this position

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, family-centered nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit (Labor & Delivery RN duties)
• Monitor and assess mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret EFM tracings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (OB/GYN, anesthesiology, neonatal staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and per facility protocols
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Float to the Postpartum unit as needed to support patient care and staffing
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and family-centered environment for mothers, newborns, and families
