- Position Type: Travel MRI Technologist (Hospital, Diagnostic Imaging, Radiology Department)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
- Shift: 10-hour nights, Sunday through Wednesday (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM) — night shift MRI technologist role
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,050
- On-Call: Some call required; participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience in a hospital setting (diagnostic imaging / radiology)
- Current ARRT (MRI) certification
- Valid AHA BLS certification
- Must be able to take call as required
- No local candidates within 50 miles (local applicants within 50 miles are not eligible)
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols, producing accurate diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety, screening, and comfort throughout the imaging process; follow MRI safety and contrast administration guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic results
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment (1.5T and 3.0T systems), troubleshoot basic technical issues, and ensure proper function and cleanliness
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in PACS/RIS while adhering to HIPAA and hospital documentation standards
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly when scheduled
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PACS, RIS, and contrast administration
- Familiarity with a range of MRI platforms and protocols (1.5T / 3.0T)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital radiology team
