Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Radiologic Technologist / Radiology Tech
- Certified and registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
- Diagnostic Imaging certification; proficiency with digital radiography (DR) and fluoroscopy preferred
- Cross-training in additional modalities (CT, MRI, portable/X-ray) as department policy requires
- Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required
- Reliable transportation required (limited/no public transportation in rural Gunnison)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging exams (radiography and fluoroscopy) to produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation
- Position patients and set proper exposure factors following ALARA principles to ensure diagnostic quality and patient safety
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment and PACS software; assist with image post-processing
- Prepare, administer, and monitor contrast materials per protocol and assist with special procedures and examinations
- Assist radiologists and clinical team during procedures; maintain sterile technique and patient comfort
- Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and follow departmental protocols and safety guidelines
- Cross-train in additional modalities and adapt to a diversified technical workload as needed
