Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,580 - $1,700
• Location: Franklin, NC 28734 — travel physical therapy job in North Carolina
• Facility: Leading medical center – New 30-bed hospital & outpatient rehab
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (travel assignment / travel PT)
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Patient Population: Mixed outpatient (no double booking or overlapped patients)
• Evaluation Time: 60-minute evaluations, 40-minute follow-ups
• Productivity Goal: 70% (2.7 units per hour, weighted by complexity)
• Manager: On-site manager and collaborative interdisciplinary team
• EMR: NetHealth / Redoc (documentation and billing experience preferred)

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain NC license
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience (orthopedic / musculoskeletal preferred)
• Experience with evaluations, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and common outpatient modalities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient setting
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and accurate EMR documentation (NetHealth/Redoc experience a plus)
• Previous travel PT or contract experience is a plus but not required

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive 60-minute patient evaluations and 40-minute follow-up sessions for a mixed outpatient caseload
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes and patient-centered care
• Provide evidence-based interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, balance and gait training, and modality use
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in NetHealth/Redoc EMR to support continuity of care and billing
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the onsite manager to optimize patient outcomes
• Meet productivity goals while ensuring no double booking or overlapped patient appointments
• Deliver compassionate, professional care in a modern outpatient rehabilitation setting
