Job Details – Travel Nurse / Med/Surg RN

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Location: Lawrenceville, GA (Zip: 30046) — Lawrenceville healthcare, Atlanta suburb
• Setting: Acute Medicine Unit – Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week — night shift nursing
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel assignment, On-site travel nurse job

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced acute medicine environment
• Must be willing to travel for this travel nurse assignment; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
• Experience with EHR documentation, medication administration, patient monitoring, and interdisciplinary team collaboration preferred

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients on the Acute Medicine/Med-Surg unit during night shifts
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, perform accurate EHR documentation, and report changes in patient status
• Administer medications safely and follow physician orders and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory, pharmacy, and ancillary staff) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond promptly to patient needs, alarms, and emergencies during night shifts
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
