Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 - $2,670
• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19118 (Chestnut Hill)
• Setting: Women’s Center — breast imaging / mammography clinic
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (05/18/2026 – 08/16/2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days (08:00 – 16:30), 5 shifts per week, 40 hours/week

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Mammography Technologist / Mammography Tech
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARRT Mammography certification (R)(M) or state-equivalent registration required
• Strong understanding of breast anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Familiarity with screening and diagnostic mammography, breast imaging protocols, and PACS documentation

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using ionizing radiation per established protocols and technologist scope of practice
• Ensure accurate breast positioning, appropriate exposure techniques, and evaluation of imaging parameters to obtain diagnostic-quality studies
• Integrate technical imaging skills with compassionate patient care for diverse populations
• Use independent professional judgment and critical thinking throughout the imaging process
• Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff; document findings and procedures in the medical record and PACS
• Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement initiatives, and evaluate professional performance
• Comply with state and federal regulations, quality control standards, MQSA guidelines, and mammography accreditation requirements
