• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710 - $1,830
• Location: Springfield, IL 62781 (Springfield, Illinois – Central Illinois)
• Position Type: Travel Radiology Technologist / Radiologic Technologist (13-week contract)
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Outpatient Urgent Care (Level I trauma center, Magnet hospital)
• Assignment Dates: May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (08:30 – 17:00), plus one 8-hour shift per pay period
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-call: Required as needed
• Patient Age Groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Scrub Color: Any solid color
• Parking: Free with permit

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist / Rad Tech experience
• Active ARRT (R) certification (Radiologic Technologist)
• Active Illinois state license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Active BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross only)
• Experience using Cerner electronic health record / Cerner charting system
• Ability to work on-call and accommodate scheduling needs
• First-time travel radiology technologists welcome
• Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during assignment

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-rays for outpatient urgent care and inpatient settings
• Operate radiology equipment and follow radiation safety protocols
• Provide patient-centered care across all age groups in a fast-paced Level I trauma center
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in Cerner
• Adhere to infection prevention and isolation precautions
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond as required for urgent imaging
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary radiology team to ensure high-quality imaging services
• Accommodate block scheduling and coordinate with management on shift needs
