- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,520 - $2,650
- Location: Burbank, CA 91505 — Los Angeles area, Southern California
- Facility Type: Outpatient Facility (Ambulatory Cardiology Office)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour (08:30 – 17:00), Monday–Friday
- Hours per Week: 40
- Start Date: ASAP (2-week start preferred)
- Role Type: Travel RN / Travel Registered Nurse / EP Lab Nurse
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand within 2 weeks of applying)
- Minimum 1 year EP Lab, EP Tech, or Cardiology RN experience required (cardiac device management experience preferred)
- Experience with implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs) and device readers
- Familiarity with MURJ for remote reports and device alert management
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record (EPIC charting)
- BLS certification required
- First-time travel nurses accepted; local candidates in Burbank / Los Angeles encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiac device management and monitoring for ambulatory patients (pacemakers, ICDs, ILRs)
- Manage remote device transmissions, alerts, and MURJ reporting as part of the EP Device Division
- Perform device interrogations, troubleshoot device readers, and escalate device issues per protocol
- Deliver patient education on device function, follow-up care, and urgent symptom triage for adult cardiac patients
- Supervise and assist with stress tests, consults, and follow-up visits in an outpatient cardiology setting
- Document clinical care accurately using EPIC; maintain clear, compliant patient records
- Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists, EP techs, medical assistants, and interdisciplinary clinic staff
