• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,520 - $2,650
• Location: Burbank, CA 91505 — Los Angeles area, Southern California
• Facility Type: Outpatient Facility (Ambulatory Cardiology Office)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour (08:30 – 17:00), Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Start Date: ASAP (2-week start preferred)
• Role Type: Travel RN / Travel Registered Nurse / EP Lab Nurse

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand within 2 weeks of applying)
• Minimum 1 year EP Lab, EP Tech, or Cardiology RN experience required (cardiac device management experience preferred)
• Experience with implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs) and device readers
• Familiarity with MURJ for remote reports and device alert management
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record (EPIC charting)
• BLS certification required
• First-time travel nurses accepted; local candidates in Burbank / Los Angeles encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiac device management and monitoring for ambulatory patients (pacemakers, ICDs, ILRs)
• Manage remote device transmissions, alerts, and MURJ reporting as part of the EP Device Division
• Perform device interrogations, troubleshoot device readers, and escalate device issues per protocol
• Deliver patient education on device function, follow-up care, and urgent symptom triage for adult cardiac patients
• Supervise and assist with stress tests, consults, and follow-up visits in an outpatient cardiology setting
• Document clinical care accurately using EPIC; maintain clear, compliant patient records
• Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists, EP techs, medical assistants, and interdisciplinary clinic staff
