ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience working as an ICU nurse / critical care RN
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Critical Care RN certification preferred (e.g., CCRN)
• Compliance with onboarding health and professional requirements: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement, 2-Step PPD or IGRA, COVID-19 vaccine, annual TB questionnaire
• Successful completion of skills checklist and competency exam
• Driver's License or State ID required for submission

ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU as a critical care nurse
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, administer medications, and perform interventions as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and safety programs
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and ICU best practices
