Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 - $1,820
• Location: Tahlequah, OK (Zip: 74464) — Travel Surgical Tech in Oklahoma
• Contract Duration: 15 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/22/2026)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (schedule determined by manager)
• Call Requirement: 2 days per week and 2 weekends per month (half of this time is second call)
• Employment Type: Travel / Contract (Operating Room Tech, Surgical Technologist)
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs or business casual

Job Requirements (Surgical Technologist / OR Tech)

• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification required (Certified Surgical Technologist acceptable where applicable)
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Tech or Surgical Technologist
• Ability to meet call requirements and a flexible travel schedule
• Experience with C-sections, OBGYN, General, Ortho, Podiatry, OMS/Dental procedures is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment for surgical procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
• Coordinate preparation and transport of specimens and ensure proper delivery to the laboratory
• Maintain inventory and readiness of sterile supplies, instruments, and surgical equipment
• Assist surgical team with setup, instrument passing, and operative support across multiple specialties (OBGYN, ortho, general, dental, podiatry)
• Assist with patient transport and pre-operative preparation, including washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites
• Participate in in-services, continuing education, and training to stay current with surgical equipment, trends, and techniques
• Clinic responsibilities as assigned: rooming patients, taking vitals, processing orders, and routing phone calls
