- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,220 - $1,310

- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12 Hour Days; 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM, rotating schedule
- Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; acute care or critical care experience preferred
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC)
- Active New Mexico Respiratory Care license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
- Competent in ventilator management, airway maintenance, and ABG collection/interpretation
- Ability to work independently, follow approved protocols, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and mechanical ventilation management
- Assess patients, monitor responses to respiratory treatments, and document clinical changes
- Perform and document Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) punctures and ABG interpretation
- Manage ventilator settings, modes, and weaning protocols for optimal patient outcomes
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations and arterial line placement
- Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
- Deliver medicated aerosols, maintain airways, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in emergency response and critical care support as needed
