• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,220 - $1,310

• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12 Hour Days; 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM, rotating schedule
• Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; acute care or critical care experience preferred
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC)
• Active New Mexico Respiratory Care license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Competent in ventilator management, airway maintenance, and ABG collection/interpretation
• Ability to work independently, follow approved protocols, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and mechanical ventilation management
• Assess patients, monitor responses to respiratory treatments, and document clinical changes
• Perform and document Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) punctures and ABG interpretation
• Manage ventilator settings, modes, and weaning protocols for optimal patient outcomes
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations and arterial line placement
• Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
• Deliver medicated aerosols, maintain airways, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in emergency response and critical care support as needed
