ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift | Travel Nurse – Travelers Rest, SC

Join our travel nursing team as an ICU Registered Nurse (Night Shift) in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. 13-week LTAC ICU & Med-Surg travel assignment — ideal for experienced critical care nurses with EPIC EMR experience.

• Location: Travelers Rest, SC 29690 (Travelers Rest, South Carolina)
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse (13 weeks)
• Setting: Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) ICU & Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
• Start Date: May 18, 2026
• End Date: August 17, 2026
• Shifts: Nights – 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770 – $1,870
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (subject to unit needs)
• Floating: Required to float to Med-Surg as needed (ratios: ICU 1:2, Med-Surg 1:5)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active South Carolina RN license OR compact state license accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience (LTAC experience preferred) — critical care nursing background required
• At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience (electronic medical records experience preferred)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations; vent weaning and trach/PEG care experience a plus
• Previous charge, community hospital, or trauma experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to patients in a 12-bed ICU and 31-bed Med-Surg unit
• Manage ventilator weaning, trach/PEG care, complex wound care, and spinal cord injury cases
• Administer medications, manage central and arterial lines, and perform advanced nursing procedures within scope
• Float between ICU and Med-Surg units as needed and provide competent care across settings
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday coverage
• Complete pre-assignment testing and required onboarding modules prior to start date
