• Assignment Type: Travel RN (travel nursing assignment)
• Unit: Med/Surg (Medical/Surgical)
• Start Date: 5/18/2026 or 5/25/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (12-hour shifts), every other weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 – $1,650
• Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact preferred)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in acute care or medical/surgical settings
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility requirement)

Key Responsibilities — Med/Surg RN (Travel)

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical/surgical patients in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Perform patient monitoring, assessment, and accurate EMR documentation of patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, case managers, therapists) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and procedures as prescribed
• Provide patient and family education on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and clean work environment in accordance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
