Job Details

Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
Location: Cody, WY 82414 — Gateway to Yellowstone; ideal for ER travel nurses who enjoy outdoor recreation and a close-knit community
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
Shift: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 4 shifts per week (10-hour days)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Travel, On-Site — Emergency Department (ED) nursing job

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years recent experience in an Emergency Department (ED) caring for pediatric through geriatric patients
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred; strong documentation skills required
Must reside outside a 100-mile radius from Cody, WY (per travel nurse assignment rules)

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care across all age groups in a critical access hospital setting
Assess, triage, stabilize, and treat a wide variety of medical, traumatic, and behavioral emergencies
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EPIC or the facility EMR
Maintain a safe, efficient, and organized Emergency Department; participate in continuous quality improvement
