  • Shift: 12-hour nights (5:30 PM – 6:00 AM) — Night shift RRT
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,670 – $1,790
  • Start / End Date: May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026

Required Qualifications

  • Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or equivalent—must meet state licensure for RRT/RCP
  • Credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
  • Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
  • At least 1 year of current acute care respiratory therapy experience preferred (new graduates and travel RRTs may be considered)
  • Strong OB and neonatal respiratory experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform required physical tasks
  • Excellent auditory/visual abilities for monitoring patients and charting
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • All requested time off must be pre-approved and will be added to the end of the contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide, coordinate, and direct individualized comprehensive respiratory care based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Perform ventilator management, airway maintenance, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medication administration
  • Deliver care in accordance with the scope of practice for a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP/RRT)
  • Collaborate with the Cardiopulmonary Director, Lead RRT, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care
  • Perform procedures and interventions typical to the Respiratory Therapy Unit (including neonatal and OB-related respiratory support as needed)
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and charting to meet hospital and regulatory standards
  • Support a safe, positive patient care environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
