Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,320 – $1,420
- Location: Savannah, GA 31404 (Savannah respiratory therapist / Georgia respiratory jobs)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — NICU nights / travel respiratory therapist role
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel Respiratory Therapist / Travel RRT)
- Dress Code: Hunter Green uniform
Job Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification — neonatal/pediatric respiratory therapist experience preferred
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Minimum 1 year of Neonatal ICU or Pediatric ICU critical care experience
- Proficiency with Epic documentation system
- Ability to independently admit and manage ventilated patients in Pediatric ICU (ventilator management, airway support)
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU and pediatric ICU (NICU Respiratory Therapist / Pediatric Respiratory Therapist)
- Set up and manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation, including biPAP, CPAP, Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation
- Utilize advanced respiratory equipment: Servo U, Drager VN500 ventilators, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, and heliox therapy
- Independently admit and manage vented patients in Pediatric ICU with strong ventilator management skills
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, family-centered care
