- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 - $1,970
- Contract: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (straight nights or rotating day/night); every other weekend & holiday
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Care Setting: Acute hospital — Level II Trauma Center (ICU, NICU, PICU exposure)
- Charting: EPIC

- NBRC credential: RRT or CRT (required)

- Minimum 1 year of ICU respiratory therapist experience
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Must not have a permanent address within 80 miles of Bismarck, ND (travel assignment requirement)
- Ability to badge in/out at facility
Preferred Certifications & Experience
- PALS and NRP certifications (preferred)
- Experience in NICU, PICU, and other acute care settings
- Previous use of EPIC charting system
Key Responsibilities — Hospital Respiratory Therapist
- Provide respiratory care for patients across acute hospital units, including ICU, NICU, and PICU
- Perform respiratory assessments, administer therapies (ventilator management, HFNC, aerosolized treatments), and monitor patient progress
- Assist with advanced airway management and emergency respiratory interventions as needed
- Document all patient care and interventions in EPIC accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
- Cover rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
