Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) needed for a 12-week inpatient hospital assignment in Tahlequah, OK — weekend PRN schedule, competitive pay. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 – $2,310
• Location: On-site in Tahlequah, Oklahoma (74464) — Oklahoma speech-language pathologist jobs / Tahlequah healthcare
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 24, 2026)
• Schedule: PRN, primarily Saturday/Sunday day shifts (10-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 20
• Setting: Inpatient hospital, all ages — hospital SLP, inpatient speech therapy

Job Requirements

• Active license from the Oklahoma State Board as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an SLP (hospital/inpatient experience preferred)
• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). ASHA CCC-SLP preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary medical team
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders in patients of all ages
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and speech therapy interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical best practices within the department
