Job Details

• Location: Maysville, KY 41056 – Kentucky nursing jobs in a historic river town with easy access to Lexington and Cincinnati; ideal for travel nurses seeking regional opportunities.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
• Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM (12-hour nights) – night shift Emergency Room nurse / ER RN
• Hours per Week: 36 (weekly guarantee)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750 – $1,840
• Setting: 100-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care facility – acute care nursing, emergency department setting

Qualifications / Requirements

• Active Kentucky RN license or active multistate compact RN license (travel nurse eligible)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (ED, triage, acute care)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and rapid triage skills
• Experience with Meditech EHR preferred (electronic health record documentation)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, evidence-based emergency care to patients of all ages including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, stabilization, and interventions for acute and emergent conditions in the ED
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient status using Meditech EHR
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
